STRENGTHEN YOUR WORKFORCE

Partner with National Apprentice Employment Network (NAEN) and GTNT Group to support young Indigenous talent in Alice Springs.

We know that many businesses in Alice Springs are keen to employ young Indigenous people. However, frontline leaders often lack the training, experience, and guidance to successfully manage and support young Indigenous staff. The Indigenous Skills and Employment Program (ISEP) supports 15-19 year-olds entering employment across town camps in Alice Springs. 

We are looking to partner with businesses who:
Are already employing young Indigenous staff.
Are looking to hire 5 or more young Indigenous people in the next 18 months.

Through this program, your business can access:

• Cultural Competency Training for frontline managers
• Ongoing Mentoring from a cultural mentor to ensure long-term success
• Monthly Networking Events to connect with other local businesses and support services
• Access to an Online Forum and Resources to help your team grow
• Mental Health First Aid Training to better support your staff
• Certificate IV in Leadership and Mentoring delivered by the Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre

We can also help you connect with potential employees through our youth programs, partner organisations, and two annual career expos - providing you with direct access to young, motivated candidates.
