The National Apprentice Employment Network (NAEN) Conference was held in Yulara from 27-29 May.
Kathryn Stenson (CEO), Emma Koerner (Employment Services Manager) and Peter Ilic (Southern Region Manager), alongside a selection of apprentices and trainees from Voyages Tourism Australia (Explore Uluru), recently hosted a visit with Minister Jo Hersey-Member for Katherine.
During the visit, Hospitality Trainees showcased their developing barista skills by preparing a selection of coffees as part of their current training block at the National Indigenous Training Academy (NITA). The Minister also had the opportunity to meet with two Commercial Cookery Apprentices and learn more about their training journey. The meet and greet was warmly received, with apprentices and trainees welcoming the opportunity to share their experiences and training pathways.

• Certificate III in Tourism
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Certificate III in Plumbing
