Our Purpose & Services
Our services span employment, training, recruitment, community and corporate workforce solutions across a diverse range of industries. Our purpose is simple: to create Territory Futures through Vocational Education and Training opportunities for all communities across the Northern Territory.

Employment Services (GTO) focuses on supporting apprentices and trainees to successfully complete their qualifications while addressing barriers they may face. Many jobseekers are entering full-time employment for the first time or changing careers, so mentoring and personalised guidance are central to helping them adapt and thrive.
Our programs and services are designed to be inclusive for all, mature aged individuals, young people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander apprentices, people with disability, as well as individuals disengaged from school looking to gain hands-on experience. GTNT Group, as a not-for-profit, prioritises assisting these cohorts to access meaningful training and career pathways.

Apprenticeships Northern Territory is an Apprentice Connect Provider delivering Australian Apprenticeship Support Services across the Northern Territory. Jointly funded by the Australian Government and the Northern Territory Government, Apprenticeships NT performs key administrative and regulatory functions on their behalf.
Most of our services are provided to key client groups, including young people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander apprentices, individuals disengaged from school or with low levels of education, people living in regional or remote communities, and unemployed Territorians. Through mentoring and tailored support, we aim to help these groups successfully enter and complete apprenticeships and traineeships.

Institute of Skills and Training Australia (ISTA) is GTNT Group’s in-house Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivering high-quality training designed to suit a variety of learning styles. Our courses equip students with industry-current skills and knowledge through interactive and flexible learning approaches. The RTO delivers training for trainees, particularly in hospitality and business, to ensure participants gain the skills and qualifications needed for successful career pathways.
ISTA has been recognised for excellence, winning Small Training Provider of the Year at the 2023 Australian Training Awards and achieving runner-up in 2025. As a not-for-profit, ISTA is committed to meeting community needs by providing accessible training opportunities across a range of industries. (RTO 0381, CRICOS 03929D)
